Three ways to meet

  • By phone: anywhere in Florida, California or Texas.
  • By video: helpful if you'd like to see plan comparisons on screen, or have family join from another city.
  • At home: by appointment in Broward County, including Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Tamarac, Sunrise, Plantation and Fort Lauderdale.

People in Palm Beach County usually meet with us by phone or video.

What happens after you contact us

  1. We call you back. A licensed agent, not a call center, returns your call. If we miss you, we'll try once more and leave a message. We won't keep calling.
  2. A short first call. We ask what's prompting the call: turning 65, leaving a job, a plan change letter, or a problem with your current coverage. Then we set up a time that suits you.
  3. Scope of Appointment. Before we can discuss Medicare Advantage or Part D plans, Medicare rules require you to confirm which types of plans you'd like to talk about. For a scheduled meeting, this is usually done at least 48 hours ahead. It's a short form, and signing it doesn't enroll you in anything.
  4. Your comparison. We check your doctors, prescriptions and pharmacy against plans from more than 20 insurance companies, and show you Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage options side by side with a full-year cost.
  5. You decide. Take as long as you need. If you choose a plan, we help you enroll and stay with you for billing questions and a review every fall.

Medicare rules require us to record sales and enrollment calls. We'll tell you at the start of any call that's recorded.

Have these ready if you can

  • Your red, white and blue Medicare card, if you already have it
  • Your current insurance card
  • A list of your doctors and specialists
  • Your prescriptions with doses, and your pharmacy
  • If you're still working: your employer plan details

Missing something? That's fine. We can start with what you have. Our turning 65 guide explains the deadlines if you're new to Medicare.

Already a client?

Call the same number for help with a claim, a bill, a plan change letter, or a new prescription that isn't covered. If you're moving, tell us before you move so we can check whether your plan works at your new address. A move often opens a Special Enrollment Period.

Agents and partners

Licensed agents interested in joining the team, and community groups, churches or senior centers who'd like a free Medicare information session in English or Kreyòl, can reach us at the same phone and email.

Stop contact from us

If you'd like us to stop calling, texting or emailing you, just say so on any call, reply STOP to a text, or email us. We'll remove you within 10 business days. We never sell or share your phone number.

Concerns or complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled something, please call us first so we can put it right. You can also contact the Florida Department of Financial Services consumer helpline at 1-877-693-5236, or Medicare at 1-800-633-4227 (TTY 1-877-486-2048), 24 hours a day.

Contact questions

Does it cost anything to talk with you?

No. Our help is free. Insurance companies pay us when you enroll, and your premium is the same whether you enroll through us or directly with the company.

Will I get calls from other agencies after I fill in your form?

No. Your details come only to PlainPlan Benefits. We don't sell or share them with other agencies or lead companies.

Can you help if I live outside Broward and Palm Beach?

Yes, by phone or video anywhere in Florida, California or Texas, where we're licensed.

Can I call to ask a question without buying a plan?

Yes. Many calls are just questions about a letter, a penalty or a deadline. You're never under any obligation.
